As previously known, Suzuki had discontinued the Alto VX variant and wagon R due to concerns regarding missing safety features like ABS and other quality issues. This decision from Suzuki came due to rising pressure to meet global safety standards, and now less than a month later Pakistan Suzuki Motors Company (PSMC) has quietly revealed a newly upgraded version of the Alto hatchback with a minor price increase.

What is New in the Suzuki Alto 2025?
The newly revealed Alto comes with a number of upgrades across all variants. These include:
- Fasten seat belt indicator (a welcome safety addition)
- ISOFIX lower anchor for safer child seat installation
- Minor exterior changes, such as:
- New rear emblem
- Updated rear door garnish

Some features are only available in specific variants:
VXR MT and VXR AGS Variants
- Power window switch illumination
- Front and rear power windows with safety pinch guard (driver side)
- Auto up and down mechanism for the driver’s window
VXL AGS Variant
- Side turn lamp added for better visibility
Alto 2025 Biggest Upgrade - ABS Introduced
The most notable and long-awaited upgrade is ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) now being available in the VXR MT variant. This safety feature was heavily in demand by Alto buyers and is rarely offered in locally assembled hatchbacks in this price segment.
